After our busy three week trip to Utah our summer didn't slow down!
We had a day full of fun on the 4th of July.
We went swimming ALL day, had a bar-b-q, then went to the golf course to watch fireworks.
Curt found a baby bunny in the window well...
We hit the movie theater!
They had $2 movies on Thursdays which included the ticket for the movie, a small popcorn and a small drink.
Awesome right!?!
We hung out with friends A LOT...
We went to the county fair...
We didn't get many pictures but the kids LOVED it even if it was super hot out!
Kara feeding one of the goats!
We went to the Columbian Park Zoo.
Always a fun place to go, one of our favorites!
Our library is AWESOME!
They had a few special story times over the summer along with some extra activities.
Story time in the park with llamas...
Christmas in July...
Bubble time...
Arthur story time...
We did some swimming in our HUGE pool in our backyard!
We have some friends that have 'real' swimming pools so we did go swimming in bigger pools then ours!
Kara did AWESOME this year in the pool.
She'd swim every where with her water wings on.
She'd even jump in with no one there to catch her.
After a while she would take her water wings off and play on the stairs.
We're glad that Kara is so comfortable in the water but it scares us a little at the same time!
Conner getting into things while we're not looking...
He found a flower pot that didn't have a plant in it just the dirt and dumped it out on himself!
He looks so innocent here!
On a side note, look at our poor grass and how brown it is.
This was back towards the end of July first of August.
It's been a pretty DRY summer which has been good and bad.
The bad is that everything is so brown...
The good is that it hasn't been humid so we can stand to be outside.
And here we are sitting out back by the fire pit getting ready to roast marsh mellows.
What a summer!
We have had a TON of fun and have been so busy but we wouldn't want it any other way!
