First round of visitors

The first week of Kara's life it was just the 3 of us.  It was nice to have some time together as a new little family.  Curt was such a big help.  He is such a cute dad, I love just watching him with Kara.
My mom and grandma flew into town a week after Kara was born.  My grandma stayed for a few days before my uncle Kevin, who lives in Champaign Illinois, came and got her.  It was fun to see his family.  My mom was here for a week.  We stayed busy while they were here and it went WAY to fast.  It was so good to have the extra help and to have family here, it helped with the home sickness.  We already miss them and wish they were still here.

Grandma Johnson, Grandma McQuivey (my mom), and Kara

She always has her hands up by her face.  So cute!

She has lots of smiles to share but they are hard to catch on camera, hence the blurry picture!  They say it's gas, she must take after her dad!

Kara doesn't care much for her bath time so we let grandma bath  her.  Grandma didn't mind at all!

Our little sunbather!

Here is great grandma Johnson and little Kara.  Grandma truly loved the time she had to spend with Kara.  Grandma thinks a lot of little Kara, she was born on her birthday.  What a special day for the both of them.

Grandma Mac and little Kara.

Couldn't pass up the opportunity for a four generation picture.

Already for the day, looking cute in yellow!

On Saturday we drove around and checked out some covered bridges.

We wore Kara out with all the shopping and driving around while grandma and great grandma were here!  We sure do miss them.
Thank you mom and grandma for all your help and we love you guys.

Jodi,
She's absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad you have a blog. What an exciting time for your little family. Ohhhhh, it goes soooooooo fast the first year of their life. Soak it in while you can (and good luck trying to get some sleep ;)!)

I love how tiny she is. I almost forget they come that small.

Congratulations again!
