I had a cousin in Champaign, IL who got baptized the first weekend in January.
Champaign is about a hour and a half away from where we live so we headed that way.
Grandma Johnson flew in to be here for the baptism. This is her youngest grandchild.
Jared, Jami and their family drove four and a half hours to be there too.
It was so fun to see family, it has been a long time.
Kara showing Grandma her 'tap' shoes.
She calls these little gray shoes her tap shoes.
Don't know where she got that from!
Grandma and Conner with Uncle Kevin in the background!
Jared and Jami followed us back to our house to stay the night.
When we got home we opened Christmas gifts from Jared and Jami.
Conner got a Bronco jacket.
And Kara got a doll.
The kids watching a movie as the adults played games.
All ready for church.

On Monday we met my aunt half way and picked up Grandma.
The kids, especially Kara, warmed up fast to Grandma Great!
We did a little shopping with Grandma and every time we went to get out of the car Kara would run around to Grandma's door and help her out.
She was so cute!
On Tuesday we took Grandma to the airport.
After dropping Grandma off Kara would ask where Grandma Great was.
There was even a time when Kara said "I lost grandma."
It was so fun to have Grandma at our house for a couple days.
