Curt flew out to Utah for a few days last week and then drove back with his parents and sister. While Curt was gone poor little Kara had a runny nose and was pretty congested. The second day he was gone Kara feel asleep on my lap and you could hear the congestion in chest. She woke up about 15 minutes after she feel asleep and puked up a bunch of mucus then feel back to sleep. About 30 minutes later she woke up again coughing and trying to catch her breath. Her poor little stomach and chest were caving in. I freaked out and called the on call doctor, since it was after hours, and she told me to take her to the ER. On my way to the hospital I called some friends and asked if there was somewhere else I could take her for after hours but in our small town there wasn't. A few minutes after we got to the hospital our friend showed up, she stayed the whole time with us. A little later her husband and uncle showed up to give Kara a blessing. We are truly blessed to have such amazing friends out here. We are so thankful for them and their willingness to take care of us while Curt is away. Kara was diagnosed with croup. She still had a pretty good runny nose and a little cough but she was feeling better when grandpa, grandma and aunt Hollie got here.
While Curt's family was here we drove around and checked out some covered bridges.
We went down to Indianapolis and checked out the new temple site and checked out the Circle Center Mall.
We also hit up the old rotary jail museum.
Kara and Hollie read a few books together.
On our way to the airport to drop off Hollie we stopped at Big R and check out the little chicks they had. Kara just stood there and watched them. Then when it was time to go she waved and said bye!
We kept busy and had a good time while family was here. Kara was so cute and warmed up fast. It kind of makes me sad that we don't live a little closer so she could see them more often. It was sad to see them leave.
We can't wait until May when we get some more visitors!! We only have about 50 days (7 weeks) left until our little guy is here and aunt Jillyn!

jet's blessing outfit was a combo of stores :) his shirt and vest were old navy and his pants were childrens place. since there's no "white clothing" stores out here we had to make do....i would definitely check around right now, when all the cutesie Easter stuff is on sale. plus, i wanted something he could wear more than once! His collared shirt underneath has a pattern on it...and i got it a little big! good luck! you're almost done!!!
Looks like you guys have a very nice family. Congratulations, but that Curt guy looks like a major tool.
