A couple weeks ago my parents came into town for a few days. It was so fun to have them here. Kara LOVED it, and so did we!! We keep so busy but had tons of fun.
The first thing we did was hit up Turkey run for a hike.
After Turkey Run we met Curt at his work so my parents could take a tour of the cheese plant.
Then when we were all back home again we carved pumpkins.
That night my mom and I went to the airport to pick up my grandma Johnson, my mom's mom. The next day we headed down to Indianaplois to the Motor Speedway Museum.
We took the bus ride around the track.
For dinner that night we went to the Beef House and met my uncle Kevin (mom's brother) and aunt Marilee. After dinner my grandma went home with Kevin and Marilee to spend some time with their family.

On Wednesday we went to story time. We tried to get a picture of Kara with her craft that she made but she folded her arms and wanted nothing to do with it. Little stinker!
After story time we went to the Old Rotary Jail Museum. We have been wanting to do this for a while but it just never has worked out. It still didn't work out for Curt this time.
Kara loved the jail, she loved to get down and run around.

On Thursday morning my parents headed out to go to Iowa to spend a few days with my brother and his family. Before they left they had to spoil Kara one last time and give her a box of nerds. It didn't take long for Kara to open them! At least she helped clean them up!
We had such a great time with my parents here. We stayed so busy that it took Kara and I a couple days to recover! We sure miss them already!
