Curt's family cans about 100 pints of salsa every year so when we lived close we were able to go and get some wen ever we needed some. Now that we live far away we decided it was time to try to make some our selves. It wasn't to bad. We only made about 11 pints.
While we were canning I thought it would be fun to try to can some dilly beans (pickled beans).
It's funny how domesticated we are becoming when we have to do things for our selves and not relay on family as much as we use too!!

I need to learn how to can too! We have tons of peaches and will have a bunch of pears that would be really yummy canned.
