Here are our feet in all four states at once!!!

That is us at 4 corner's!! We gave some guy the camera to take a picture of us and he got more of the sky then anything and we look like we are so far away. If you were taking the picture why wouldn't you try to get more of the platform in the picture so that when you look at it you can tell that it is something cool!?! I guess that was too much to ask for and we needed to explain how to take a good picture!!! Oh well at least we got a picture!
After the 4 corners we went to Hovenweep. We weren't planning on going there but it was kind of on our way and we weren't in any big hurry. Hovenweep is just a small little place. These dwellings stood right on the canyon rim.

We made it to the Grand Canyon just in time to set up the tent and walk to a view point to check out the sunset.

This is one of the very first overlooks you come across. We had to stop and check it out on our way to the camp ground so that we wouldn't swerve off the road trying to check it out as we drove by.

I thought this picture was cute with us in front of our cool tent! So we looked on line before we left and checked out the campsite to see what spot we wanted to reserve. We found one that was kind of close to the bathrooms and the water. We then called and reserved it. When we got there to check in the guy asked how big our RV was and we told him we were staying in a tent. He looked surprised. He said that we were in a 30 foot RV campsite, which is the biggest size of a RV that you can have! Not only were we in one of the biggest RV sites there, they were all out of RV sites for that night and there was a couple right in front of us that was looking for a site! Opps!! :o) It humored us!

Here we are at the edge of the Grand Canyon at sunset.

Wow. Those are some awsome pics. I love traveling. It's amazing how you can live in Utah your whole life and still not see some of the neat places that are around us. Maybe you should have tipped the guy and he would have taken a better picture. Ha Ha.
Um..I don't think you can complain about how someone takes your picture when you don't even know the guy:)Good pic's
So much fun to see all the cool places you guys went! And the story about the campsite is too funny! Guess that means Kurt needs an RV now, right? :) Thanks for sharing.
Ok - I just realized I spelled Curt's name wrong - totally typing too fast for my brain to keep up apparently! He'll laugh about that, right?
